The Next Taboo for Pregnant Women? Wireless Devices.

by 5G Crisis – 16 July 2020

For the most part, pregnant women are acutely aware of the risks smoking and drinking alcohol pose to the developing baby. But recent scientific research suggests that wireless radiation could be the next thing on the list that pregnant women should avoid.

Technology offered today by the wireless industry puts powerful wireless transceivers much closer to users of all ages than ever before. This two-way communication, and the increased radiation needed to support it, is reason for serious concern. Indeed, manufacturers of wireless devices warn consumers to keep their phones, tablets, baby monitors and other wireless devices away from their bodies.

According to Dr. Hugh Taylor, Chair of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the Yale School of Medicine, keeping wireless devices away from the developing baby is an important precautionary measure for pregnant women to take. “The fetus is perhaps the most vulnerable to these types of environmental insults. When the brain is just forming, when all of the organ systems are just beginning to develop, that’s when we are perhaps at our most vulnerable stage.”
