Increasing numbers of children and young adults in Sweden diagnosed with sleep problems

In January 2026, a Swedish study revealed a significant rise in sleep disorder diagnoses among children and adolescents, increasing seventeen-fold from 2001 to 2024. Conducted by Mona Nilsson and Lennart Hardell, the research links higher exposure to wireless radiation to these rising sleep problems. The findings raise public health concerns regarding long-term consequences.
